I can’t express my love for Jackie Chan enough. He is my childhood. My idol. That’s probably why I thought to myself that I’m really getting old, while watching the last couple of his movies.
I grew up watching Jackie Chan jumping from one building to another, doing jaw dropping acrobatic acts, trying not to show it and cover with comedy when he got hurt, while I was simply afraid of crossing the road by myself. Now that I see him, getting less roles, less adrenaline and no stunt accidents at the end of his movies^^, I feel happy that I lived my childhood in his era, at a time we referred to Kung Fu as ‘Jackie Chan’ .

I never wanted to be the next Bruce Lee. I just wanted to be the first Jackie Chan.

He’ll forever be a person to look up to in my life and my idol.
